We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager for a major project based in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large-scale M&E project on a high-security site, working with a well-established and professional team delivering complex electrical installations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical operations on site, managing labour and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently, and maintaining programme deadlines and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Location: Central London
Hours: Overtime available
Start Date: Immediate Start
Rate: Excellent rates available depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:- Overseeing day-to-day electrical construction activities on site
- Managing electrical subcontractors and site teams
- Coordinating works in line with project programmes and deadlines
- Ensuring all works are completed to current regulations and high-quality standards
- Liaising with project managers, site managers, and other trades on site
- Managing health & safety procedures and ensuring RAMS compliance
- Monitoring progress and reporting updates to senior management
- Attending site meetings and coordinating project delivery
- Managing labour, materials, and resources effectively
- Supervising containment, tray, conduit, lighting, power, and associated electrical installations
- Supporting commissioning and project handover stages
- Proven experience working as an Electrical Construction Manager
- Strong commercial or industrial project background
- Experience managing large electrical teams on site
- SSSTS or SMSTS preferred
- ECS / JIB Card
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively within fast-paced construction environments
This project is based on a secure/high-security site. Candidates who currently hold or have previously held SC Clearance would be highly desirable. Escorted access can be arranged for suitable candidates who meet the required criteria.
