The predicted salary is between 17 - 18 £ per hour.

We are currently recruiting for: 1 x Hoist Operator to join a busy commercial construction project in Thetford on an ongoing contract, with a start available on Monday 1st June.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Operating the site hoist safely and efficiently
  • Transporting materials, tools, and personnel across site as required
  • Carrying out daily safety checks on the hoist equipment
  • Ensuring all hoist operations comply with site safety procedures
  • Communicating effectively with site management and operatives
  • Maintaining clean and safe loading areas around the hoist
  • Assisting with general site duties when required

Requirements

  • Valid CPCS A20A or A20B Hoist Operator Ticket or NPORS N111 Hoist Ticket
  • Previous experience operating hoists on construction sites
  • Strong understanding of site safety procedures and regulations
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and hard‑working attitude
