Role

Working as part of a small, experienced estate team, you will carry out a broad range of agricultural and estate duties.

Responsibilities

• Rolling, cultivating, and power harrowing
• Hedge cutting using rear flail‑mounted hedge cutters
• Woodchip handling and low‑loader towing
• Operating modern tractors and telehandlers
• Fitting, removing, and changing attachments and implements as required

What You\’ll Need

Essential

• Minimum 5 years\’ experience in a similar agricultural or estate role
• Experience operating modern tractors
• Experience with rear flail‑mounted hedge cutters
• Confident fitting and removing implements
• Experience using a variety of attachments and trailers
• Ability to reverse trailers into tight spaces
• Confident changing PTO shafts (540 / 1000)
• Telehandler ticket (LANTRA or NPORS)
• Experience changing buckets, brushes, and tines
• Good communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and own transport

Desirable

• Forestry or countryside experience

You must be physically fit, adaptable, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Working Pattern

• Full‑time, permanent position
• Minimum 39 hours per week
• Daytime hours
• Overtime available, including weekends

Package

• £30,000 – £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience
• Annual salary review
• 28 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays
