Domestic New Build Electricians – Great Yarmouth

Location: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk Job Type: Temp-to-Perm or Permanent Sector: New Build Housing / Domestic Electrical Start: ASAP Salary/Rate: Competitive – dependent on experience

Anglian Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Domestic New Build Electricians for ongoing new build housing projects in the Great Yarmouth area.

This is an excellent opportunity for electricians looking for long-term, secure work, with both temp-to-perm and permanent positions available.

The Role

You will be working across new build residential developments, carrying out electrical installations from first fix through to completion.

Duties will include

  • First and second fix electrical installations
  • Wiring new build houses
  • Installing sockets, switches and lighting
  • Consumer unit installations
  • Testing and fault finding where required
  • Working from drawings and specifications
  • Ensuring installations are completed to a high standard
  • Working efficiently to programme and site deadlines
  • Maintaining excellent health and safety standards

Requirements

Applicants should have

  • Previous new build housing/domestic electrical experience
  • NVQ Level 3 or recognised electrical qualification
  • 18th Edition
  • ECS/CSCS card
  • Own tools
  • Good knowledge of current electrical regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transport and a strong work ethic

Testing qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential for all positions.
