The Role
Working as part of a busy field service team, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of specialist machinery and equipment at customer sites. The role will involve fault finding, diagnostics, planned maintenance and breakdown response whilst delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Complete detailed service and repair reports.
- Provide technical support to customers and colleagues.
- Carry out pre‑delivery inspections (PDIs).
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Represent the business professionally when attending customer sites.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Plant Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, HGV Technician, Mechanical Engineer or similar.
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- IT literate and comfortable completing digital job reports.
