Groundworks Foreman Location: Norfolk & Suffolk Employment Type: Permanent or Contract available Salary: £52,000 - £55,000per annum + vehicle - DOE Anglian Recruitment are currently working with an established residential contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Groundworks Foreman to oversee groundworks operations across residential developments throughout Norfolk and Suffolk. The Role You will be responsible for supervising groundworks activities across residential developments, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities include: * Supervising groundworks gangs and subcontractors on residential sites * Overseeing drainage, foundations, concrete, kerbing and associated groundworks * Coordinating daily activities and labour requirements * Working closely with the Site Manager and wider site team * Ensuring works are completed to programme and specification * Monitoring health & safety and maintaining high site standards * Checking levels, setting out and ensuring works are completed correctly * Managing materials and plant requirements * Supporting the Site Manager with day-to-day site operations * Ensuring quality and productivity standards are maintained About You The successful candidate will ideally have: * Previous experience as a Groundworks Foreman / Groundworks Supervisor * Strong residential or new-build experience * Good knowledge of drainage, foundations, concrete, kerbing and external works * Experience supervising groundworkers and subcontractors * Ability to read drawings and understand specifications * Strong understanding of health & safety requirements * SSSTS/SMSTS would be advantageous * Good communication and organisational skills * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Norfolk & Suffolk If you're an experienced Groundworks Foreman or Supervisor looking for your next opportunity across Norfolk and Suffolk, we'd like to hear from you.
