We are looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager for an ongoing position on a live hospital construction project in North London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of works, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors
- Overseeing daily construction activities
- Attending progress and client meetings
- Liaising directly with the client and wider project team
- Ensuring health & safety and site compliance
- Coordinating works within a live hospital environment
- Managing site documentation and reporting
- Monitoring programme and quality of works
Requirements:
- Valid SMSTS
- Strong knowledge of building and construction
- Previous Site Manager / Construction Manager experience
- Previous hospital, healthcare or live environment experience
- Good understanding of NHS processes and procedures
- Strong subcontractor management experience
- Confident and professional in a client-facing role
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
