Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Civil Engineer to join their expanding team based in Cambridge.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of exciting projects while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working, with just 2-3 days per week in the Cambridge office.
The Role
As a Civil Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality civil engineering designs across a variety of sectors.
Working alongside a collaborative and experienced team, you'll contribute to projects from concept through to completion, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Producing civil engineering designs and technical drawings.
- Preparing drainage, highways and infrastructure designs.
- Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Liaising with clients, contractors and local authorities.
- Supporting projects through planning, design and construction phases.
- Ensuring work is delivered on time and to the highest standards.
About You
We're looking for someone who has
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Previous experience within a consultancy environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK design standards and relevant software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage workloads and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Chartered status, or working towards Chartered status, is desirable but not essential.
