Anglian Recruitment are proud to be working with a prestigious and well-established construction and land management client, currently seeking experienced 360 Excavator Operators to join their team on an ongoing, long-term project based in Bungay, Suffolk. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a well-paid, varied role with a highly respected company that values skill, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
We are particularly interested in operators with a solid agricultural background – people who are comfortable working outdoors, confident with machinery, and happy to get involved in a range of site and land-based tasks. Our client is looking for hands-on, proactive individuals – this is not a sit-in-the-machine-all-day role. You’ll be expected to jump out and help with groundwork, land care, and general site duties when required. If you can also drive tractors or other agricultural machinery, that’s a huge advantage.
Role Overview:
- Operating 360 excavators safely and efficiently on a busy site
- Supporting groundwork, drainage, and general site preparation
- Assisting with agricultural, landscaping, and land care work
- Getting involved with a variety of hands-on tasks around site
- Carrying out daily maintenance checks on machinery
- Working closely with site management and a small, friendly team
This is not your standard 360 role – it offers real variety and the chance to work across both construction and agricultural projects.
What’s on Offer:
- £23.00 per hour
- Long-term, ongoing work with genuine potential to go permanent
- Temp-to-perm route after 12 weeks
- Immediate starts available
- Work with a reputable, forward-thinking contractor
- Ongoing support from the Anglian Recruitment team
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience operating a 360 Excavator (CPCS or NPORS licence essential)
- Strong agricultural experience is a must – confident working with land, soil, and outdoor environments
- Tractor driving experience highly desirable
- Hands-on, proactive approach – willing to get off the machine and help where needed
- Reliable, hardworking, and a real team player
- Full UK driving licence and own transport required due to site location
- Own PPE
