Anglian Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join a busy and well-established steel fabrication workshop based near Wymondham, Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder fabricator looking for long-term work with a reputable local employer offering stability, overtime, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

The Role

The successful candidate will be working within a busy fabrication workshop carrying out MIG welding and structural steel fabrication to a high standard. Duties will include:

  • MIG welding structural steel components
  • Beam fabrication and general steelwork
  • Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings
  • Working accurately to production deadlines
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and safety
  • General workshop duties as required

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you should have:

  • Proven experience in MIG welding and structural steel fabrication
  • Ability to read and work from engineering/fabrication drawings
  • Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Reliable and punctual approach to work
  • Welding qualifications advantageous, although strong practical experience will also be considered
