We are currently recruiting for an experienced Testing Electrician (C&G 2391) to join a well-established electrical contractor working across a range of projects in Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled testing electrician looking for long-term, stable work, with the role offering a clear pathway to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out inspection, testing, and certification of electrical installations
- Completing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
- Fault finding and rectification work on commercial systems
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with BS 7671 regulations
- Producing accurate reports and certification documentation
- Working across multiple commercial sites (offices, school, retail, industrial units, etc.)
- Liaising with site managers, clients, and other trades on-site
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times
Requirements
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) Essential
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition (BS 7671)
- ECS/CSCS Gold Card (preferred)
- Proven experience in testing and inspection within commercial environments
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Full UK Driving Licence
