We are seeking a casual after school club assistant to join our friendly team. Candidates will work in an effective childcare team delivering a high quality, flexible childcare service that meets the needs of the children and their families. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the day-to-day organisation and operation of the club.
  • Providing a safe, stimulating environment for the children, with creative and appropriate play opportunities.

The post holder will be required to demonstrate a continual positive commitment to the Trust’s policies including those relating to safeguarding children, health & safety, and equal opportunities. You will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, a responsibility we expect all our staff to share.

Salary: National Living Wage plus holiday pay

Hours: 2:45pm - 6pm Monday - Friday or as and when required

Annual Leave: Holiday pay is included within payment received, in line with statutory regulations.

No experience required, although it is desirable that you have experience of working with children (e.g. volunteering, babysitting, youth groups, clubs) and an interest in education, childcare or play.
