Hours: 24 hours and 15 minutes per week. Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 38 weeks + 2 days (TT+)

We are seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our Inclusion team, working closely with teaching and therapeutic staff to provide personalised, relational, and trauma-informed support to students.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support using therapeutic, sensory-informed approaches
  • Build trusted relationships that help students feel safe, understood, and valued
  • Support a highly personalised curriculum, including vocational and therapeutic pathways
  • Promote emotional wellbeing, inclusion, and positive behaviour through connection and consistency
  • Contribute to calm, structured, and inclusive learning environments
Person Specification
  • Has experience supporting children or young people
  • Is calm, patient, adaptable, and relationship-focused
  • Understands (or is keen to learn about) neurodiversity, trauma-informed practice, and safeguarding
  • Believes in a strengths-based, inclusive approach to education
  • Educated to at least GCSE / O Level standard in English and Maths, with a Grade C or equivalent
  • Good written and spoken English as well as excellent communication skills
  • A positive interest in working with children
  • Competent use of IT – particularly MS Office
  • Experience & knowledge of working with children with additional or complex needs
  • Knowledge of safeguarding
