Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be assisting the Payroll and Pensions Manager with the day‑to‑day efficient running of the Payroll and Pensions department. This includes working on all aspects of the end‑to‑end payroll and pensions process, providing timely and accurate responses to queries, liaising with colleagues in the HR department to ensure that all current payroll changes are successfully processed in the iTrent integrated HR and Payroll system and with our outsourced payroll provider to ensure that all changes are processed accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Experience of running payroll
- Experience with manual payroll calculations
- Knowledge of Tax, National Insurance, Statutory Deductions, Statutory Sick Pay and Statutory Parental Payments
- Knowledge of pension legislation for automatic enrolment
- Minimum GCSE Maths and English Standard

- Experience with using iTrent
- Experience of LGPS and Teacher
