Anglian Learning is seeking a skilled and motivated ICT Technician to join our Technical Services Team, supporting schools across the Trust.
About the Role
You’ll provide first-line ICT support to staff and students, ensuring reliable, high-quality technology services across our schools. This is a varied, hands-on role combining helpdesk support, classroom technology, infrastructure maintenance, and user training.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve ICT issues, escalating where required
- Manage and prioritise helpdesk tickets
- Maintain and support laptops, desktops, tablets, AV equipment, and 1:1 devices
- Provide in-class and exam-time ICT support
- Assist with system upgrades, deployments, and imaging
- Support core systems including Microsoft 365, networking, wireless, AV, MDM, CCTV, and backups
- Deliver one-to-one ICT training to staff and students
- Maintain ICT asset records and ensure compliance with security and data protection policies
Person Specification
- Experience in a technical support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Office applications
- Understanding of ICT hardware, software, and basic networking
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience working in a school or education setting
- CompTIA A+ or Level 3 ICT qualification
- Experience with Helpdesk systems, WDS, Google Workspace, ChromeOS, Mac/iOS
- Interest in web technologies or AV/CCTV systems
