About the Role
As Headteacher, you will provide strategic leadership and accountability for the direction, standards and quality of education at Clare Community Primary School, and play an important role in shaping the wider vision of primary education across the Trust. Working closely with the Deputy Director of Primary Education and the Trust’s Executive Leadership Team, you will help drive innovation, strengthen leadership capacity and ensure the school continues to deliver excellent outcomes for pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inspirational leadership that delivers high standards of teaching, learning and pupil outcomes
- Lead and develop strong leadership teams across the school
- Embed the Anglian Learning ethos, values and educational vision
- Foster positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents, governors and the wider community
- Develop innovative curriculum and teaching approaches for 21st-century education
- Work collaboratively with Trust shared services including HR, Finance, Estates, IT and Operations
- Build system-wide leadership capacity through strategic staffing structures and governance
- Ensure the school remains outward-facing and actively engaged within the Trust network
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Substantial and successful senior leadership experience in a primary setting
- Proven ability to lead school improvement and raise educational standards
- A track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted outcomes
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practice
- The ability to inspire, coach and develop staff at all levels
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication and organisational skills
- A strong commitment to safeguarding, equality, and pupil wellbeing
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- NPQH / NPQEL
- Further professional study relevant to primary education leadership
