Location: Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in office, based at Soham Village College)

Hours: 37 hours per week, full year (flexible working considered)

Reports to: Finance Business Partner / Senior Finance Business Partner

About the Role

Anglian Learning is seeking a Finance Officer to join our finance shared services team, supporting a group of schools within the Trust. You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing income and expenditure, and ensuring compliance with Trust financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage school bank accounts, income, and reconciliations.
  • Operate school income and cashless catering systems.
  • Raise invoices and manage credit control.
  • Process and reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and card transactions.
  • Maintain supplier records and follow fraud prevention procedures.
  • Respond to finance queries promptly and support colleagues across the Trust.

About You

  • Experience in finance or administration (school/education sector experience desirable).
  • Good numeracy, IT, and Excel skills.
  • Strong organisation, accuracy, and customer service focus.
  • Team player with a proactive approach.
