You will experience the functions of a non‑executive director, including setting a strategic vision, influencing and negotiating, and managing risk.

What Are We Looking For

  • Leaders with a strategic mindset who balance student outcomes with financial sustainability, achievement rates, and quality education.
  • Experience in primary education leadership or a financial background with CCAB or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong governance and business expertise from the corporate sector.

What Will You Be Doing

  • Serve as both a charity trustee and a company director in a multi‑academy trust.
  • Hold the trust’s executive leadership to account, offering scrutiny, challenge, and ensuring robust governance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure good value for taxpayers’ money and support the vision and direction of the Trust Board.
  • Collaborate closely with a passionate and diverse team.
