Hours: 25 hours per week, Term Time Only (38 weeks)
Additional Option: Breakfast Club cover twice weekly (7:45am–8:15am)
About the Role
We are seeking a committed and caring Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at Linton Heights. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to help raise pupil attainment, promote independence and wellbeing, and support pupils, individually or in groups to fully access the curriculum and experience success.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning across the curriculum, including pupils with SEND
- Encourage inclusion, participation and positive behaviour
- Assist with preparation of resources and the learning environment
- Observe and record pupil progress and share information with staff
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents/carers and professionals
- Support lunchtime supervision and, where appropriate, provide personal care to pupils
- Promote pupil safety and follow all safeguarding procedures
- Engage in professional development and ongoing training
