We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team and support the day‑to‑day operations of our busy school office, with a particular focus on financial administration. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a flexible and inclusive school team. Reporting to the Headteacher, you will have a varied workload where no two days are the same, with key responsibilities supporting the school’s financial processes and procedures.
In summary, the role will include:
- Providing an efficient and effective administrative service, with responsibility for supporting day‑to‑day financial processes such as purchase orders, invoicing, and budget monitoring.
- Assisting with the accurate processing and recording of financial transactions in line with school and Trust procedures.
- Supporting financial reconciliation activities and maintaining clear, organised financial records.
- Liaising with staff, suppliers and the Trust finance team regarding financial queries and processes.
- Assisting and covering other administrative staff as required to maintain an efficient core office service, including reception duties.
- Supporting compliance with financial regulations and internal procedures, with training provided where required.
- Assisting with first aid of pupils (training can be organised).
- Responding to parental and staff queries in a professional and timely manner.
