Role overview:

Anglian Learning is pleased to share with you an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Trust ICT Manager to join their Technical Services team, working from Soham Village College.

The Assistant Trust ICT Manager helps manage and support ICT systems across the Trust, playing an active role in onboarding new schools and aligning existing ones. As a member of the Technical Services Leadership Team, the candidate will help shape IT strategy, guide ICT integration in curricula, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Operationally, the manager will help lead a cluster of schools and staff within a wider structure, overseeing the work of junior staff, including ICT Technicians and Junior Technicians, some of whom may be on an apprenticeship. They will also support the Trust ICT Manager in monitoring local school budgets, specifically for hardware, licensing, and ongoing maintenance.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant Microsoft qualifications or equivalent, proven, practical experience
  • Considerable experience working in a tech support role
  • In-depth knowledge of ICT hardware, software & networking
