Contract: Full-time 37hrs/wk, permanent

Location: Primarily based at Bassingbourn Village College and the Trust HR base in Northwest Cambridge.

Led by the Director of People, the HR Shared Services Team adopts a business‐partnering model with a newly formed team consisting of HR Business Partners, HR Officers and HR Assistants. You will act as the first point of contact for your assigned school(s), delivering a broad and hands‐on HR service. As a key member of the HR Team your role will include:

  • Managing employee relations including supporting the HRBPs with complex casework
  • Leading on recruitment, onboarding, and HR processes
  • Advising staff, including managers and senior leaders, on policies and best practice
  • Supporting HR projects and organisational change that support the Trust's people vision and strategy
  • Contributing to the delivery of the people strategy in line with school/area business plans and wider Trust strategic objectives
  • Using HR data to identify trends and improve decision‐making

This is a true generalist role acting as the operational lead with exposure to the full employee lifecycle.
