Location: Primarily based at Bassingbourn Village College and the Trust HR base in Northwest Cambridge.
Anglian Learning is a successful multi-academy trust in East Anglia responsible for 22 schools, educating over 11,000 pupils and employing more than 1,600 staff. Led by the Director of People, the HR Shared Services Team adopts a business-partnering model with a newly formed team consisting of HR Business Partners, HR Officers and HR Assistants. You’ll act as the first point of contact for your assigned school(s), delivering a broad and hands-on HR service. As a key member of the HR Team your role will include:
- Managing employee relations including supporting the HRBPs with complex casework
- Leading on recruitment, onboarding, and HR processes
- Advising staff, including managers and senior leaders, on policies and best practice
- Supporting HR projects and organisational change that support the Trust’s people vision and strategy
- Contributing to the delivery of the people strategy in line with school/area business plans and wider Trust strategic objectives
- Using HR data to identify trends and improve decision-making
This is a true generalist role acting as the operational lead with exposure to the full employee lifecycle.
