Join our national multi branded company where we value expertise, collaboration, and strategic thinking. We are seeking a Talent Development Manager to join our Learning and Development team in Norwich.

In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our workforce by designing and implementing innovative development programs that enhance employee skills and performance.

The ideal candidate for this role is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in talent management and employee development. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively engage with employees and key stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Needs Assessment: Identify and analyse skill gaps within the workforce to determine training requirements
  • Program Design and Implementation: Develop and execute comprehensive training programs, workshops, and seminars to elevate employee skills and performance
  • Performance Management: Create strategies to enhance employee performance, including goal setting, feedback provision, and performance reviews
  • Career Pathing: Create and implement talent reviews, career pathways, role skills mapping to support succession planning across the Group
  • Leadership Development: Focus on cultivating leadership skills among employees to prepare them for future leadership roles
  • Apprentice Recruitment: Support the Group HR Director with the implementation of the L and D and talent management framework program and the attracting and onboarding of high-quality candidates including young talent through Apprenticeships
  • Program Evaluation: Analyse data and trends on all measurable KPIs and offer recommendations to drive improvements and efficiencies through commercial solutions

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor\’s degree in human resources, Learning and Development, or related field
  • Proven skills in talent management, employee development, and performance management
  • Experience of digital content creation, designing and delivering training programs at all levels including senior management
  • Strong understanding of training methodologies and best practices, eye for detail through effective controls & governance
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse and report data and utilise metrics to drive decision-making
  • Comprehensive proficiency in using Learning Development Systems & other software tools
