We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's credit accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payment.
- Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence.
- Allocate payments accurately and reconcile accounts.
- Resolve queries and disputes promptly and professionally.
- Prepare regular reports on debtor status and escalate issues where necessary.
- Work closely with internal teams to maintain accurate financial records.
Skills & Experience Required
- Skills in credit control or a similar finance role.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Knowledge of credit control processes and regulations.
