We are seeking an experienced Industrial Relations Manager to join our HR team on an interim 6β9-month contract, with part-time options considered, supporting a complex, unionised manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Group HR Director, you will help shape and deliver the industrial relations agenda for the Norwich-based Manufacturing Division. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, trade unions and operational leaders to build strong relationships, support collective agreements and provide expert industrial relations advice in a commercially focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of the Manufacturing Industrial Relations strategy.
- Build effective relationships with trade unions, managers and senior stakeholders.
- Provide advice on collective agreements, industrial relations matters and employment issues.
- Identify and manage IR risks, supporting practical and constructive solutions.
- Support operational leaders with complex employee relations and workforce matters.
- Produce clear communications, reports and guidance to promote consistency across the business.
Strong HR and industrial relations experience, ideally in a unionised and operationally complex environment. Sound knowledge of UK employment law and experience working with collective agreements. Strong stakeholder management.
