We are seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings for high-end, bespoke residential projects. This role involves understanding and transferring technical data from detailed site surveys into AutoCAD/Sketch Up for the Planning Department. The goal is to accurately submit plans for Building Regulation and other regulatory bodies on behalf of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed technical drawings for bespoke residential projects.
- Transfer technical data from site surveys into AutoCAD/Sketch Up.
- Ensure plans comply with current regulations and company specifications.
- Provide technical specifications for build modifications, including lintels, foundations, and drainage details.
- Support applications to local authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Advise on solutions to ensure compliance with regulations for contract designs.
- Provide drawing support for the Installation Department during unforeseen site issues.
- Assist the Marketing Department with new product development, exhibitions, and show sites.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketch Up.
- Strong understanding of Building Regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in preparing technical drawings for residential projects.
- Ability to interpret and transfer technical data accurately.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
