We are looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to support our Group Financial Controller in delivering accurate reporting, strong financial control and clear insight across a busy, multi-site business.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in getting the detail right and wants to play a key role in shaping smarter, more efficient finance processes.
What you'll be doing: Reviewing monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting packs.
Supporting statutory accounts, audit activity, VAT, corporation tax and wider compliance requirements.
Strengthening financial controls, governance and reporting processes across the Group.
Supporting budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and treasury activity.
Providing clear financial insight to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Guiding and supporting colleagues within the Group Finance team.
What we're looking for: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong post-qualification experience.
A solid background in management accounts, financial accounts, reporting and reconciliations.
Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems and data.
Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness and the ability to meet deadlines.
A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
