Anglian Home Improvements is seeking an exceptional Director of Manufacturing to lead the strategy, performance and transformation of our manufacturing function. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead a large-scale, multi-site manufacturing operation, driving operational excellence while building the capability, culture and systems required to support future growth. The Role
You will take overall responsibility for manufacturing performance across safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery and continuous improvement, ensuring our operations are positioned to meet both current and future business demands. Working closely with Executive and Senior Leadership teams, you will develop and execute a manufacturing strategy that delivers world-class performance, drives efficiency and supports sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the manufacturing strategy.
- Lead and develop a high-performing manufacturing leadership team.
- Drive improvements in productivity, quality, safety, delivery and cost performance.

You are an accomplished manufacturing leader with a track record of leading large, complex operations and delivering measurable improvements in performance. You bring strategic thinking, commercial acumen and the ability to inspire teams, drive change and deliver results.

- Significant senior manufacturing leadership experience.
- Experience leading multi-site and shift-based operations.
- Proven success in delivering operational and cultural transformation.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working within a unionised manufacturing environment.
- Manufacturing, Engineering or Operations qualification, or equivalent experience.
