Due to continued growth and investment in our production capabilities, we are looking for motivated and reliable Extrusion Technicians to join our expanding team. As an Extrusion Technician, you'll play a vital role in operating and maintaining extrusion lines, ensuring production runs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot extrusion production lines to required specifications
- Ensure products are introduced into production within agreed timeframes
- Carry out quality inspections and sign-off to ensure products meet required standards
- Support the control and consistency of manufacturing processes for finished and semi-finished goods
- Work closely with production management to identify and implement process improvements
- Proactively identify health, safety, and environmental risks, supporting actions to eliminate or reduce them
What We're Looking For
- Previous technical experience in machine setting, extrusion, or manufacturing environments
- Ability to set tooling, troubleshoot issues, and maintain quality standards
- Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Experience in product inspection and quality checks
- Strong attention to detail and logical problem-solving skills
- Ability to plan ahead and work proactively
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong numeracy skills
- Understanding of key health and safety practices
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced factory environment, including long shifts on your feet
Working Pattern (Rotating Shifts)
Days: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 7:00pm
Nights: Monday to Wednesday, 7:00pm – 7:00am and Thursday, 7:00pm – 11:00pm
