General Labourer – East Anglia in Attleborough

Anglian Demolition & Asbestos Ltd are looking to recruit a General Labourer to support ongoing project works throughout East Anglia for our contracting division. As a General Labourer for Anglian, you will complete various site-based tasks under supervision.
Duties And Responsibilities

• General labouring duties under supervision as directed by Supervisor / Chargehand
• Assist teams of demolition refurbishment operatives and labourers in the clearing arising from the demolition processes being undertaken and ensure the correct segregation of wastes prior to removal from the site
• Moving materials and equipment
• Assist in the soft strip function under the guidance of a Supervisor / Chargehand where required
• Carry out non-licensed removal works (as required) under required RPE and face fitting guidelines and clean-shaven requirements
• Undertake works at all times in a safe and diligent manner in line with Health & Safety requirements
  

Skills And Experience

• Previous demolition, strip-out experience or strong demonstrable construction experience is desirable for this position
• CSCS card (required)
• CCDO card (desirable)
• On-site experience
• Full Driving license is essential

Whilst this role is primarily based in Attleborough, Norfolk, we work regionally and therefore this role will involve travel. Working hours are 47.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 06:30-17:00. Competitive salary and benefits package based on experience, will be discussed at interview stage.
