Anglian Architectural is a Commercial Facades, Glazing & Cladding Contractor delivering high-quality projects across the UK. Known for professionalism, precision, and excellence in delivery, we work across a wide range of commercial and industrial developments. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Site Manager to join our growing team. Our projects are predominantly based across London with our office located in Newmarket. The role will involve regular travel to London sites and occasional visits to the office and may particularly suit candidates based within reasonable travelling distance of London.
The successful candidate will oversee commercial construction projects from site setup through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the highest standards expected by Anglian Architectural and our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily site operations on commercial construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and on-site teams
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Monitor construction progress against programme schedules
- Carry out quality inspections and ensure works meet specification standards
- Liaise with clients, project managers, architects and consultants
- Resolve on-site issues quickly and professionally
- Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation
- Ensure efficient management of materials, deliveries and workforce allocation
- Promote a strong culture of safety, quality and teamwork on site.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within glazing/cladding or a similar industry
- Strong understanding of construction methods, regulations and site procedures
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades effectively
- Strong problem-solving and organisation abilities
- Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Full UK driving licence
