About The Role
The role involves delivering a new national apprenticeship scheme, teaching both practical and theoretical aspects in workshop and classroom, developing the programme, liaising with employers, partnering with training centre Basildon, and making site visits across the UK. Collaboration with Further Education teams is required.
Responsibilities
- Co-operate with a small team of experienced former industry engineers.
- Provide practical and theoretical instruction to apprentices.
- Develop curriculum and learning materials.
- Maintain relationships with industry partners and employers.
- Organise site visits and promote apprenticeship opportunities.
- Support trainee skill development in servicing and repairing agricultural machinery.
Qualifications
- GCSE English and Maths or level 2 equivalent.
- Vocational qualification at NVQ Level 4 or equivalent.
- Appropriate endorsed Teaching Qualification or willingness to commence studies within one year.
- Relevant experience in land‑based service engineering or related discipline.
- Strong communication and team working skills.
Employment Details
Permanent, Full time, Salary: £31,236 – £41,064 per annum (unqualified/qualified).
