About the Role: ARU Writtle is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Instructor to join our Animal Centre team. This is a unique opportunity to combine your expertise in animal management with a rewarding role in education, helping students develop the practical skills, confidence, and professional behaviours they need to succeed in the animal industry. Working within our well-established Animal Centre and diverse animal collection, you will play a vital role in bringing learning to life through hands-on practical instruction. From developing husbandry skills to fostering professionalism and industry-ready behaviours, you will help students gain the experience and knowledge that employers value.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong practical animal management experience who enjoys mentoring others and wants to make a meaningful impact on the development of future animal care professionals. You will have a vocational qualification at Level 3 (or equivalent) and practical experience in the subject area. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach are essential, along with the ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
