To support delivery against our Institutional Strategies, we have a fantastic opportunity for a ‘Schools and Colleges Senior Officer (Operations)’ to join our growing Schools and Colleges Engagement Team within the Directorate of Corporate Marketing. With oversight of all team operations, including our Student Ambassador Scheme and administrative processes, your primary responsibility will be to lead on the development and delivery of data-informed and evidence-led Faculty engagement plans that promote UK home undergraduate student recruitment in line with ARU’s student recruitment strategy, education strategy, corporate plan, and widening access agenda.
To be successful in this role you will need to be educated to degree level and have a proven track record and passion for project management as well as delivering strategic and operational plans within time, scope, and budget. Experience of working in Higher Education Student Recruitment is essential and experience working in Widening Access and Participation will also be welcomed. You will need to be an innovative, creative thinker who is enthusiastic, proactive, patient and highly organised. You will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills and you must be able to engage, negotiate with, and enthuse those around you. It is important that you can develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of colleagues, partners, and external stakeholders. Confidence with taking the lead and owning problems to resolution is essential.
The successful applicant will be based at either our Chelmsford or Cambridge campus with the option of remote working. Travel between campuses, and occasional work outside of normal office hours is expected. It is expected that face-to-face interviews will take place Wednesday 23rd July (campus tbc).
