The predicted salary is between 45000 - 55000 £ per year.
As part of this exciting project, we have recently added to our construction provision by launching two apprenticeships (Level 4 and Level 6) in civil engineering and are looking for an individual with an innovative and disruptive approach to civil engineering and construction education who will develop and drive forward strategies to attract and retain a diverse range of people to our courses. The successful candidate will be committed to leading courses which will develop graduates with the skills and behaviours required by an engineer in the 21st century.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive strategy to attract and retain diverse students for BEng(Hons) and construction courses.
- Lead delivery of the BEng(Hons) course and contribute to teaching in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying.
- Implement innovative, industry‑relevant teaching techniques that focus on both technical and non‑technical skill development.
Qualifications:
- A Degree plus PhD is required, and/or Chartered Engineer Status with a relevant institution (ICE, IStructE, IHE, CIHT).
- Expertise in Civil Engineering, particularly structural engineering or hydraulics.
- Experience in higher‑education teaching and curriculum development.
