About The Role
We are seeking a Faculty Marketing Officer to join the Corporate Marketing team. This role supports the delivery of marketing communications related to the Faculty of Science and Engineering, with a focus on promoting the courses and facilities to new prospective students as well as supporting academics and promoting the reputation of the faculty to existing students and the wider community.
Activity includes preparing marketing emails, planning and attending events such as open days and Chelmsford Science Festival, creating video content for the ARU virtual experience, website and emails.
Working alongside the Faculty Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager, you will develop key messages for the courses within the faculty that can be used on a range of marketing materials. These activities will aim to increase the reputation of the faculty and support undergraduate and postgraduate student recruitment.
To succeed in this role, you should hold a degree or part qualified in a professional qualification associated with these requirements. It would be beneficial to have experience working with groups of people at various levels from student ambassadors, peers and academics. You’ll be excited about higher education and the opportunities it offers 18 year old+ at undergraduate and postgraduate study. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential.
The successful applicant will be based at either our Chelmsford or Cambridge campus, with remote work options. Travel between Chelmsford, Cambridge or Writtle may be required for producing content and supporting with recruitment events.
