About the Role: As a Senior Lecturer Practitioner in Pharmacy, you will have a substantive post at ARU, whilst still retaining your experience in practice. You will be working with colleagues within the School of Medicine, to design and develop a new MPharm programme, taking on the delivery of high quality teaching to our students, once the course begins. You will also work with colleagues across professional groups to design and deliver interprofessional learning and simulations. A key part of your responsibilities will be to collaborate closely with local placement providers to ensure effective placement-based learning and teaching.
Qualifications: The right individual will have a Degree in Pharmacy and extensive post qualification CPD and or a higher degree. We are seeking a GPhC registered pharmacist with experience of education and training either within academia or the practice environment. Knowledge of the GPhC Standards for the Initial Education and Training of Pharmacists (2021) and experience supervising foundation pharmacists would be an advantage. An ideal candidate would have an independent prescribing qualification, although this is not essential. A strong desire to deliver innovative, clinically focussed education to our students is key.
