About The Role
Based in our Employability Services team at Cambridge, you will play a key role in helping students and graduates achieve their career ambitions. You will provide a welcoming and professional first point of contact for students and graduates, delivering high-quality employability support and careers information. The role is largely on campus (at least 80% of the week).
Responsibilities
- Help students develop CVs and applications, prepare for interviews, improve job search strategies, and access opportunities through ARU Temps.
- Support the planning and delivery of career fairs, employer events, workshops and employability initiatives that enhance student outcomes and engagement.
- Create engaging promotional content across social media and digital channels to raise awareness of the university’s employability services and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Degree (or relevant professional qualification at degree level) or substantial relevant experience supported by evidence of continuing professional development.
- Proactive, customer‑focused individual with experience of delivering excellent service in a student support, recruitment, employability or similar environment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, experience of coordinating activities or events, and confidence in creating engaging digital and social media content.
- Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders, able to manage competing priorities, resolve queries effectively, and maintain accurate records using digital systems and databases.
- An understanding of graduate progression and the challenges faced by students and graduates would be beneficial.
