About the Role

ACPOS (Addenbrooke’s Community Paediatric Ophthalmology Service) is a community-based clinical service for children, hosted by our University Eye Clinic. We provide clinical services to the community and training opportunities for undergraduate students. The University Eye Clinic is a high-quality teaching and clinical opticians within the Vision and Hearing Sciences discipline in the School of Psychology and Sports Science, within the Faculty of Science and Engineering at our Cambridge campus.

We are seeking a clinic coordinator to ensure smooth operation of our ACPOS clinic and the patient teaching opticians within the University Eye Clinic by supporting both NHS patients and clinicians as well as University students, staff and patients. Ideally with a degree, or two A levels, or a vocational qualification at NVQ Level 3, you will have administrative experience, customer/patient advisory experience, enjoy working with children and parents, and have excellent IT skills, along with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
