The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Academic Representation Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will empower student representatives to effectively advocate and drive educational improvements, ensuring their voices influence decision-making at all levels.
You will work closely with elected officers, staff, and university leaders to promote effective representation, deliver training, and empower students to be confident advocates for their peers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Facilitating elections and training of Course, Faculty, and other Academic Representatives as appropriate for Chelmsford campus.
- Supporting representatives in raising and resolving academic-related student issues.
- Building effective relationships with university academic departments, administrative staff, and student leaders
- Actively participating in delivering key campus events including Elections and Welcome Week.
- Encouraging representative innovation, supporting student-centred improvements in academic representation.
