This role is designed as a development pathway into a future Branch Manager position within the next 4–5 years. You’ll start by driving sales activity, managing key accounts, and supporting team performance, while also gaining hands‑on experience across branch operations, commercial decision making, and people leadership. Responsibilities
- Sales & Commercial Leadership
- Take ownership of daily sales activity to help the branch hit its targets.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with key B2B customers.
- Spot opportunities to grow existing accounts and bring in new business.
- Keep track of the sales pipeline, activity levels, and forecasts.
- Team Development & Leadership
- Support and develop the sales team through regular coaching and guidance.
- Gradually take on more responsibility for team structure and performance.
- Work closely with the Branch Manager to help create a strong, high‑performing sales culture.
- Business & Operational Exposure
- Gain hands‑on experience across all areas of branch operations and commercial processes.
- Make sure CRM systems are kept up to date with accurate, timely information.
- Work with operations and other branches to ensure customers receive excellent service.
- Play an active role in improving sales processes and overall performance.
