What You Will Be Doing
Working part of the Warehouse team, the Material Handler plays an important role in ensuring customers’ orders are picked and packed to a high standard, delivering a right first-time service along with attaining our customer service excellence benchmark. Also, providing a just in time picking service to our Production department, contributing to the bigger picture of our operations departments and upholding the company’s mission, vision and values.
Your day to day responsibilities include:
- Ensuring stock materials and orders are accurately picked, double checked, packed and loaded according to standards.
- Adhering to all set out processes of picking from the correct locations.
- Safely transporting finished items from the drop zone area of the Warehouse into packing area to pack when required.
- Loading packed items onto our own fleet of vehicles ensuring safe practices are adhered to.
- Reporting any incidents such as Near Misses in line with company policy.
- Completing all paperwork requirements, ensuring goods are counted and labelled correctly before loading.
- Keeping the work areas clean and tidy.

- Previous experience of warehouse understanding and its environment is desirable.
- Understanding of plastic products would be advantageous but not essential.
