We are a well-established, family-run kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom company based in Norfolk, known for our high-quality, handcrafted products. As our business continues to grow, we require a skilled Wood Machinist to join our workshop team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machining equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD designs to create precise components.
- Use power tools and hand tools effectively for machining tasks.
- Set up tooling and fixtures for production runs.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform basic mathematics for measurements and calculations.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment (Not essential for the right candidate as training will be given).
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machines effectively (Not essential for the right candidate as training will be given).
