The role of Key Account Manager involves:
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with both new and existing customers by adopting sound relationship management and demand creation principles.
- Proactively identifying new sales opportunities.
- Visiting customers' sites and promoting Anglia and our suppliers, securing existing business and developing new business.
- Developing relationships which help to negotiate at all levels within the customer.
- Understanding the principles of demand creation versus demand fulfilment.
- Identifying the current Distributor Total Available Market (DTAM) for each customer, developing strategies to maximise our share through fulfilment and creation principles.
- Liaising with our award-winning Field Applications Engineering teams, who drive innovation at our customers, helping with their technical challenges and to get new products to market quicker, that use the latest, hottest available technologies.
- Attending regular sales conferences and other events that help in the promotion of the business.
