The Scientist I (Imaging Assay Development) plays a key role in designing, optimising and validating immunofluorescence and FISH-based assays. This is a hands‑on, technically rich role, working across the full assay lifecycle in a regulated setting, collaborating closely with molecular scientists and bioinformaticians.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Design, optimise, and validate IF and FISH imaging assays
  • Develop multiplex staining protocols and signal amplification strategies
  • Operate and maintain fluorescence microscopy and imaging platforms
  • Undertake additional ad hoc activities as required

Qualifications

  • MSc or PhD in Biomedical Sciences or related field
  • 1–2 years’ experience in imaging assay development
