We are looking for a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse who wants to be part of the Angle House Edmonton success story. You'll work closely with our clinical team, supporting patient care and assisting with a range of procedures while developing the skills and knowledge required to qualify as a Dental Nurse. Our team will guide you throughout your training, ensuring you feel confident and supported every step of the way.

As we are a specialist orthodontic practice, you will gain valuable exposure to orthodontics. To complete your Record of Experience (RoE), you may also be required to travel to other practice locations to gain a broader range of clinical experience.

Key duties

  • Support the clinical team with chairside assistance during dental procedures (within trainee scope)
  • Maintain clean, safe, and sterile clinical environments in line with health and safety regulations
  • Assist with patient care and ensure a positive patient experience
  • Prepare and manage instruments, materials, and equipment
  • Maintain accurate patient records as directed
  • Support stock control and general practice organisation
  • Work closely with the wider team to ensure smooth day‐to‐day running of the practice
  • Participate in training and development to successfully complete your qualification

Requirements

  • Enrolled on or willing to enrol onto a Dental Nursing course
  • Strong interest in starting a career in dentistry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Positive, reliable, and team‐oriented attitude
  • Flexibility to travel to other locations if required for training (RoE completion)
