Angle House Enfield is recruiting a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our established orthodontic team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to start a career as a Dental Nurse and gain practical experience while completing a Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing.

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work alongside experienced dentists, orthodontists, and qualified dental nurses, supporting high-quality patient care in a busy specialist dental practice.

Responsibilities

  • Chairside assistance to dentists and orthodontists during dental procedures
  • Supporting patient care before, during, and after treatment
  • Preparing surgeries, dental instruments, and equipment
  • Maintaining infection control, decontamination, and health & safety standards
  • Updating patient clinical notes accurately
  • Communicating with patients and providing reassurance throughout their journey
  • Supporting the smooth daily running of the dental practice
  • Working closely with reception and the wider dental team

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong interest in becoming a qualified Dental Nurse
  • Willingness to enrol on or currently studying a Dental Nursing Level 3 qualification
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Professional, reliable, and enthusiastic approach
  • Basic IT and administrative skills
  • Previous healthcare or customer-facing experience is beneficial but not essential
