We are looking for an experienced Dental Nurse to be a key part of the Angle House success story. Our orthodontists rely on Dental Nurses to assist with a range of dental procedures, while patients value reliability and reassurance that they are in safe hands. There is potential to develop new skills and progress within the practice.
This role is part-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with hours between 8:30 and 19:00 on weekdays, and occasional Saturdays.
Responsibilities- Provide chairside assistance, ensuring the correct equipment is available
- Ensure the care and welfare of patients
- Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed
- Communicate with patients and provide support throughout their patient journey
- Support the Practice Manager and the clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients
- Keep clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile in line with health and safety, infection control procedures and manufacturers' instructions
- Liaise with Dental Nurses and reception to ensure smooth running of the practice, patient communications and transfer of records
- Help achieve agreed business objectives and monitor progress
- Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3 or equivalent
- GDC Registration
- Interest in Orthodontics
- Patient-focused care
- 2+ years of nursing experience
- Experience in iTero/Trios scanning
- Dental Radiography qualification
- Orthodontic Nursing qualification
- Previous experience with orthodontics
- Diary Management
- Experience using iComply, SOE or Dentally is desirable
