About the team: We are seeking a Senior Analyst for our Commercial & Analytics team to drive strategic marketplace, pricing, and promotional decisions that optimise customer value. This team manages marketplace strategy across all brands, focusing on revenue growth and balance. You will lead marketplace initiatives and promotional strategies, partnering across the organisation to ensure successful execution through quantitative and strategic analysis. This role reports into the Associate Director, Strategic Analytics and can be based out of any of our 4 office locations: Aix‑en‑Provence, Amsterdam, Berlin and London.
What you’ll do:
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns and insights that inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with broader marketing teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive revenue/LTV growth and market expansion.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards and visualisations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) that guide marketplace health.
- Formulate A/B test frameworks to discern the impact of adjustments/new initiatives on marketplace & other business metrics.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data accuracy, reporting efficiency and overall analytical capabilities.
- Leverage advanced analytical tools and AI tools to optimise workflows.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to ensure alignment of commercial strategies with overall business objectives.
- Develop and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to senior leadership, accompanied by data‑driven insights and rationale.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging pricing trends and technological advancements to continuously improve marketplace growth.
Who you are:
- 6+ years of professional experience as an analyst/senior analyst, preferably in a two‑sided marketplace.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or a related field, with a strong analytical background.
- Demonstrated capability to influence stakeholders and manage projects from strategy development through to successful execution.
- Proficiency in data analysis & reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, and BigQuery/SQL, among others).
- Comfortable utilising AI tools to improve efficiencies and integrate their usage in daily work.
- Strong analytical skills and good at interpreting data, generating qualitative feedback and evaluating metrics to inform decision‑making.
- Good business acumen with a strong understanding of commercial topics.
- Exceptional organisational skills, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience in campaign management in a customer‑centric environment is a plus.
- Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
